Take Care Of Your Feet

Often times, with the amount of walking that a person can do while being homeless, there can come about health problems related to a person's feet. One such problem can be foot blisters or skin irritations, such as open sores, or red, itchy, and inflamed skin on the ankles and other parts of the foot.

One trick that can be used when such things occur is to fold up a normal plastic grocery bag and to insert the bag into the shoe and to spread it over the sore or area of the foot that is inflamed, to act as a barrier between your foot and your shoe to prevent friction and the rubbing up against your skin every time your shoe touches it while you walk.

By slipping a plastic bag between your wounds and the material from your shoe you can greatly reduce your pain levels and also give your feet more time to heal. :) God Bless.

Take Walks To Stay Sane

Having nothing but time on your hands can drive a person insane. In order to tremendously reduce that possibility, the body must remain in motion for large portions of the day. The quickest, easiest, and most effective way to do this is by walking. Make sure to set aside walk time every single day. Write down a daily routine and daily destinations that you know that you can realistically walk to and from on a daily basis. This will greatly reduce the amount of mental stress that you will experience while being homeless. :)

God Bless
